A Weight Loss Program that is a treatment for a specific disease diagnosed by a physician (such as obesity, hypertension, or heart disease) qualifies as a deductible Medical Expense.
I offer 3 different program lengths: 6, 8 or 10 total package program sessions, depending upon each clients needs. This need is determined at the free consultation.
The private, individualized sessions consists of one hour sessions, hypnosis tapes, informational literature, and weekly tutorials. The first session is 1 1/2 hours. All sessions are with a 'live person' doing hypnotherapy with you. The full sessions are scheduled at 1 session per week. Full payment is due at the first session. The 'Dateline' TV Diet Challenge: Hypnosis Works!
In April, 2003, Dateline TV put six people on six different diets to see which weight loss plan worked the best. They picked from six weight loss methods: the Atkins Diet, Weight Watchers, Slim Fast, extreme exercise, a personal weight loss trainer, and 'Hypnosis'.
After 1 week, the results were: Gio, who picked the Slim Fast diet, gained 3 pounds; Lynne, who picked heavy exercise, had no change; Kathy, who picked Weight Watchers, lost 4.8 pounds; Eleanor, who picked having a famous weight loss coach, lost 3 pounds; Rick, with the Atkins Diet, lost 13 pounds; Marc with Hypnosis, lost 13 pounds.
